actually this is an answer to http://www.pocketputty.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=1425 but I am not allowed to reply, only to post new topics. But anyway:

I was in need of a proxy configuration and to connect to the proxy of my ISP I have to send a special user agent string as identification. So I made a new tab in the PocketPuTTY configuration for the proxy settings similar to the one in Putty for WindowsXP and when http as proxy connection is selected, the text in the field "telnet command" is send as user agent string.



Just put the user agent string itself in the field, if it is not empty the string will be send with the "User-Agent:" tag and the necessary newlines.

Connection through the proxy work fine but I have some problems running a ssh-tunnel: first connection is fine but no other connections are made and putty locks up the whole device. Only a soft reset can fix it.
